I loved every bit of this book. The characters, the story, betrayal and magic.
I do think the world building could've been developed a little more, but other than that, it was perfection.
Jude was a character I was rooting for from the beginning, her insecurity, her personality just written to be so relatable. Who hasn't read a good fantasy book and wished they could be part of it? I think everyone could relate to Jude on that.
I even loved how some characters were so hateable, for lack of a better word. Taryn and Locke, for example. Can't say I didnt skim over their scenes.
And the angst, the enemies to romance was just....beyond words. I've finished the series but the development shown just in this book has made it my favourite.
