Cardan a bit of an asshole in this book and he bullies Jude excessively BUT OHMYDAYS IM A SIMPPP FOR HIM IN THE OTHER BOOKS.
and when you read his side of the story in How the King of Elfhame Learned to Hate Stories YOUR HEART WILL COMBUST.
i picked this book up almost a year ago and it is still one of my favourite ever young adult fantasies
I really loved this book and its characters; and even the politics in this book was very complex and had such a great dynamic.
And I LOVEEEEE the relationship that built between Cardan and Jude- and the constant turning points throughout this book
It will honestly remain one of my favourite books for a long time- and one of the most memorable. it was a book that initially got me into reading and will forever hold a special place in my heart x
