I really wanted to like this book with all the hype and all. The style of writing was great but lacked some flesh or detail. Characters were hard to like or warm too now to be fair I still read next book which was unreal. I liked this book ok and was compelled to read the rest of series but so much more could have been done with this story line yes there were surprises but sometimes they felt a tad bit rushed. I still would highly recommend series as it develops nicely. I also did like the ending it was well done and complete surprise finish. It's still a series I will revisit I think the huge hype surrounding this book may have marred my expectations. If you get the chance most defiantly pick up this series. Gave 4 stars as series does stand up
