Absolutely brilliant from beginning to end, read this book in a day and went straight onto the second in the trilogy. Can not fault this book at all, the style of writing is perfect and each character is explored in its own unique way. No character is the same, each with their own secrets to hide and their own gossip to share.
The constant twists and turns in the plot draw you in more and more as you turn each page and the enemy lovers element only adds to the violent, gripping magical story that this is. Nothing stays the same throughout the book and just when you think everything is just right or going to plan there’s another ingredient added to the mix to stir things up once more.
With betrayal, trust, broken promises, love, heartbreak, war, fights and so much more there’s no room for boredom.
