Booktook why do you make my expectations so freaking high?????
this book was definitely not what I expected, I didn't love it with my soul as most people seem to do but it was good or at least entertaining, all the character are horrible people (well fairies) and they fucking know it, I really like our protagonist Jude she is really ambicious ( a total Slytherin, actually everyone in this book is a Slytherin) sh wants to belong in this magical world and she would do anything, also she would do basically anything to protect her sibling. I thought that the book was missing something, not sure what but I didn't connect in 100% to the book.
i do have to admit that the way to tell the story with time lapses make the book more dynamic and I appreciate that
Something bad is that I couldn't take Cardan seriously I don't know why but I just felt that everything that came out of his mouth was either a joke or bulshit.
