I wasn't sure whether I was going to enjoys this after reading the prologue which seemed a bit immature. But after reading the first few chapters I am left wanting more!
I admire how strong and defiant Jude comes across straight away in the book and how protective she is of her twin sister. The way the faerie world is written is so beautiful and strange that it makes me want to go there and witness the world for myself, yet how it is worded I don't think I need to go as I can picture the magical world so vividly in my mind.
Carden comes across so cruel and cunning, yet I think there is something else going on deep down. Why has he decided to pick on Jude? Could this be a enemies to lovers concept?
I do have questions though which are yet to be answered. Why were their parents killed? I will have to read more to find out! WIth how the book is going so far I think my purse is going to become empty pretty quickly!
