This book seemed very popular before I first read it and the reviews on all seemed very good. But I found as I was reading the book that I didn't like it. It was quite different from other books that have fae in it, and in that sense, I didn't like it and it was different from what I expected. I thought I would have liked it from the description of the book, but reading the book was a different experience.
I think the book was very overhyped and talking to some of my friends that have also read this book they agree with me. The book didn't live up to my expectations and actually, let me down a lot. Usually, when I'm reading a book I am excited to pick it up again and carry on reading, but with this book I actually found myself dreading reading it. The book didn't seem to have much of a solid plot and that was the main reason why I think I found it so hard to read.
Maybe the other books in the series are better than this one, but I couldn't bring myself to read them after struggling to finish the Cruel Prince.
