I really enjoyed the cruel prince, mainly because of the main character Jude. I liked how she presented a really strong, solid and confident front to everyone, including her sisters, even though on the inside she was constantly terrified to death. I also really enjoyed the fact that even though she despised the faeries, she still wanted to be one, mainly due to the fact that she would finally fit in.
Although this book got recommended to me as an enemies to lovers romance book, though I think the romance is a sub genre, I really enjoyed Jude and prince Cardan’s relationship. I mainly enjoyed how even though Carson confessed his feelings for Jude they still remained enemies (or less so) at the end. However, I would have enjoyed reading about Cardan developing and realising his feelings for Jude as I felt like it was quite out of no where we suddenly see Cardan express his emotions towards Jude.
