I read this book a few months ago and could not put it down, I believe I read it in 2-3 days, It is such a gripping story. Holly Black is by far a very talented writer and I love her story telling and descriptions. I was worried about reading her books as I have read from a lot of people on social media in the past say that her books have to much sexual scenes, swearing and drinking, however there is no actual sex in the book only that but 2 characters are in bed together. In the book there is no sex graphic details only some kissing but I would say that's about it. There is some swearing which does not bother me although seems un needed for a young adult book, authors seem to be doing it a lot more now a days, maybe it sells the book better and is more cool. aha. I did enjoy the book though. A modern fantasy fairy story, could be enjoyed by young adults or even adults.
