I'll be honest I loved it when I first read it but now I think I just liked it a lot, I adore the faerie world that Black has created.
I wasn't keen on the "relationship" between Jude and Locke (but that's a good thing in the end- he definitely wasn't to be trusted)
I had a feeling that something would occur between cardan and Jude in the end, and I like how neither of them changes their attitude towards the other (that enemy to lover trope is so over done-especially when they suddenly start acting as though they are desperately in love and all that time hating each other never happened)
I have seen people questioning why Jude would want to fit in when she is bullied and belittled all the time. But I don't think she wants to fit in as Such, she just wants to prove that even though she is just a human with no special abilities she is just as good and strong as they are.
There were definitely elements that should have been explored more- I do have high hopes for the sequel though.
