I really liked it ! It was good, like, really good. At first, I wasn't sure to like this book, the first 100 pages was a little bit of boring. But the story's built really fast, and then you can't put back the book, the next time I lift my eyes, was when I finished it. I remember I was so chocked by the ending, I spend almost half an hour to find the next book in French, which was NOT yet edited in FR. I didn't bother to wait and read the two other books in English.
We got a beautiful, badass women who don't hold her thought or her voice. I really like Jude, and I liked even more her relationship with Cardan. The story est perfectly written and the plot don't let you disapointed. The characters are interesting, in their own ways.
This is one of those books where the faerie are actually scary, and it's good. They're cruel, and can make you do things agains your will. They're not little faeries all cute and beautiful. I liked that a lot.
