I love being dropped into a fantasy world when I first start reading a book and that’s exactly what this book did. The world building made it so easy for me to understand what was going on, usually with fantasy books it kind of takes a while to pick up what’s going on but this book was an easy read. Often readers of this book say that there’s an enemies to lovers trope but a word of caution before picking up this book is that the romance is only a very tiny plot , but the main plot is amazing , especially within the rest of the series. For me it only got better each time, and it was a nice and quick read. Very good if you want to get out of a slump !!
It can be said that the book is for younger audiences but that didn’t make it any less interesting for me , I would say this only because of the simple reading style and because the plot is easy to follow. Personally , it’s enjoyable no matter what age !
