OKAY. I just love this so much? It’s heartbreaking and wonderful and I love love LOVE! I just love the ending so much and I am ded. *flops* I LOVE the poem at the start so much?? The rhyming and everything sends a chill down my spine and makes me feel SO ready for the book! The way we’re slowly fed info about how the Faerie world works also flows really well and helps understand the world whilst not distracting from the main story! Cardan is so cruel. I mean I LOVE HIM... BUT STILL.
Locke. So many mixed feelings. I genuinely hate him so much right now because of what happens.
I DETEST VALERIAN. I think he’s probably the only one of The Cardan Crew (i forgot what they’re called!) who is properly heartless.
‘In my heart, I yearn to best them.’ Jude is so wonderful and broken and hardworking, all she wants is to be respected and accepted which is super relatable even in real life. She hates being vulnerable and I honestly just want to hug her so much. She’s so sweet (and her prank on Cardan was great!). I don’t see why anyone would find her annoying. She is WONDERFUL and fierce and watching her stand up to Cardan makes me feel so proud and defiant! SHE SHOULD HAVE GOT TO WEAR HER GREEN SASH THOOOO
