The Cruel Prince by Holly Black was such a fun book to read! I love the world that Holly created, it seems like a really magical world perfect for the fae and the inclusion of all the different species, like pixies and trolls, was something else I loved! The main character Jude was exciting to read about. She's really smart and determined which I love seeing in characters! There's a lot of complicated relationships, for example Jude's parents were murdered by Madoc, who now looks after her, but she still loves him. They were interesting to read about! I like that the fae were traditionally mean because it's not actually something I've read in a lot of books about fae and it was enjoyable to see how they are traditionally portrayed! The only thing I'm not sure about is the romance, Cardan is horrible to Jude yet they start to have a bit of a romance so I'm excited to see how that progresses in the next books as loads of people love them! Overall I really enjoyed the Cruel Prince and am looking forward to continuing the series!
