This is a fantasy book following Jude Duarte and her twin sister Taryn who are mortal girls living in a magical faerie world called Elfhame. The story is narrated from Jude's point of view.
I absolutely loved this book!!! I love the author's style of writing and how well she described the world, making me feel as if I was really there in Elfhame with Jude, Taryn and Cardan. The characters were all so unique and had so much personality and depth to them. I found the dynamic between Jude and Cardan super interesting and the end of the book had me extremely excited to read the next book in the series! I loved the action and how the plot twists appeared when you least expected them!
This book is the perfect blend of magic, faeries, romance, cruelty and danger. I would 100% recommend this book, had me hooked from the beginning (I read it in one sitting!).
