what a ride. This trilogy is definitely on my top 2 trilogies I've read this year, and it's not number 2. Jude is such an interesting character, her ambition is refreshing. the political intrigue, the twists, the betrayals and the hidden plans keep you on the edge of your seat for the entirety of the books.
Cardan, oh Cardan. I had so much fun reading his interactions with Jude. his character is so different to any other YA character i've read recently. He's both lovable and unlovable at the same time. Complex is the best word to describe him (also hot and funny)
Jude has swiftly turned into my favorite female character ever. seeing her get what she wants in spite of what other people want is amazing. she's complex, interesting, mysterious, morally grey. definitely the opposite of boring. i adore her.
I finished the whole trilogy a couple of months ago and I already want to read it again. So yeah, fully recommend this
