Honestly one of my favorite books. I must admit I'm a sucker for books about fae *cough* Sarah J Maas *cough*. This one absolutely lived up to the hype for me. I've seen it all over social media and couldn't wait. The fae world created here is an excellent representation of classic fairy tale fae. The story-line itself is excellent. It does start kind of slow but stick with it! It's 100% worth the wait. There's many unexpected twists that leave you thinking and the voice of the main character is great! I love how the author has given her ambitions of power to work toward so she's not just a stereotypical female protagonist trying to avoid it. The ending is completely unexpected and definitely contains enough drama that made me freak out. I got all three books out of the library at once and finished them in 3 days they were just so addicting. Now they're on my to-buy list. Go read this book!
