I absolutely loved this book!!!! At first I was not sure but once I got into this book I fell in love with it, the characters (especially Cardan), the setting and the world. If you pick up this book you will not be disappointed. I was unsure as usually books with a lot of hype (like this one) leave me disappointed but this did not disappoint. Holly black is an incredible author, her writing is amazing and paints a vivid picture. If you are new to YA fantasy or a loyal reader this is perfect for you. I would recommend for fans of Cassandra Clare or Sarah J Maas. It is set in a world of Fey which is a reason to lead it alone. The depth of the characters and the character development is wonderful. It’s got tension, romance, magic, fey, villains, and twists and turns what more do you need for a good book? I would and I am sure most fantasy readers would 100% recommendation.
