This book is about the mystical and 'perfect' world of Faerie. The main character is Jude, whose parents were killed by her sister's real father, Madoc and who, along with her twin sister, are humans.
Her older sister, however is a Fae, and after their parents are killed, the man who killed them takes all the girls in and they live with him in the Faerie world.
Jude is not your typical main character, in my opinion she's really strong and her thoughts and feelings are very realistic to what a human would think and do in that situation.
I think she is very brave and far from perfect, which makes her even more appealing to the audience, as we go along with her, trying to figure out who she is and what she really wants from this world. or what the world wants from her.
i'm still in the process of reading The Cruel Prince, however I can say that I will be reading the sequels for sure!!
