I really enjoyed reading the cruel prince. I really loved Jude. She's intelligent, independent, and she's constantly has a plan. I also love the enemies to lovers trope, and this book definitely has it. There's definitely a lot of romantic tension, even though romance isn't the main plot point.
The world is also really cool. It's got a lot of interesting faeries that aren't necessarily present in other books i've read. I also just love Cardan's vibe, even though he's kinda mean.
I will say one think though. If you go into this book thinking it's a romance you're going to be disappointed. While the romance is fun, it's a lot more about how much of a badass Jude is.
I strongly recommend this book. It's not for everyone, but there's a lot of twists and turns that keep the book interesting basically the entire time. It's a super fun and interesting read!
