I've been wanting to read this for ages so I thought I'd look at a preview and give my opinion.
I'm really into fantasy so at first thought I'd really like this book. Then I heard many mixed opinions on The Cruel Prince, so I wasn't completely sure whether I would like it after all;
The writing looks really good. Easy to read, smooth. The dialogue is a little cheesy, to begin with, but it's not all bad.
The plot sounds interesting and just like the kind of thing I'd usually read. I'm also a massive fan of Cassandra Clare, who is Holly Black's best friend!
The characters seem interesting and diverse, so I'm thinking I will like this book, but I'll have to read it and see. No other way, really!
