There was so much hype surrounding this book that made me kind of scared to read it because there's always that risk with a book as talked about and loved as this one seemed to be that it won't live up to your expectations.
Unfortunately that was the case when I read it.
I opened up this gorgeous book with high expectations and expecting to fall in love with it ... Sadly I couldn't muster up that much feeling for it.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it plenty!
But it wasn't until maybe halfway or just over that things started to get interesting and that's when I got into it, thankfully!
I just felt that the first half fell a bit flat or maybe because I just didn't warm to Jude. I'm not sure but the second half saved it and I will definitely be getting the next book!
