I liked this book, but I'm not sure about buying the sequels in the series. The story is about Jude, a mortal girl in the world of the Fay and I think the abstract does the book justice.
Half-way through the book, I wasn't so convinced about where the story was going, but that definitly changed further in the book!
The story itself is not thirteen-in-a-dozen, which I'm glad for and I'm also really glad that there is no love triangle.
The reason I'm not sure about buying the sequels is due to the fact that I'm having difficulties connecting to the main character. She seems a bit too far removed from my own world and way of thinking.
However, the story itself is very intriguing and filled with surprises, so I do recommend it.
