a classic fantasy YA series. plot twists and world building was amazing however could have more romance but other than that it was definitely enemies to lovers. recommend this series if you are someone looking for beginner fantasy, it was my first fantasy books and wooww!! i loved it and opened up a whole new world. plus Carden is hot. i believe this book had more of a political than romance plot however the characters were so good. i was so drawn into this book.
the first few chapters were a little difficult to follow along but other than that there was no issue. carden and judes on and off banter was sooo good ugh! the second and third book were amazing too however the first will always hold a place in my heart. okay 700 characters is a lot but i honestly think everyone needs to read this book right now!! what i would give to read it again for the first time!
