Sooo I was lied to , I thought this was gonna be a YA romance mainly but nope it was Fantasy. Like ALOT of fantasy and world building.
I love Cardan as soon as I saw him even though he was an absolute ass, I especially loved him with Jude because they were enemies at first and I am a SUCKER for enemies to lovers.
I was a little confused when I started the book and it took me a while to get into but once it kicked in I LOVED IT.
I bought The Wicked King and Queen Of Nothing immediately afterwards and I was NOT disappointed with those ;)
There were so many amazing scenes with Jude and Cardan where I was either screaming at the pages or on the verge of tears. I almost passed out from excitement reading the knife to throat scene because of-course the sexual tension was IMMACULATE.
Some of the characters made me wanna punch someone but overall I loved this book and I definitely recommended :)
