the overall telling of this story is amazing. it’s simple but yet so effective in drawing the reader in. the beginning of this book is what really captures the readers attention. the first chapter is very fast paced and makes you want to read further. i love how it starts of with the three sisters in the mortal world who were suddenly taken back to the face world by a faerie claiming that they had been stolen from him. this first chapter really makes you want to read on to find how why this happened. i like how it then skips to them living a normal life in this fae world with this faerie who just kidnapped them.
the character of cardan is a very interesting character. he is horrible towards jude which makes the reader wonder why he acts that why to her even when she has done nothing wrong. Overall this books is one of my favourite reads and i would definitely recommend to others.
