This absolutely amazing book, set in modern times, kept me up later than i should of been trying to find out what Judes next plan will be. The plot twists throughout the book where amazing and i have to admit that was one of my favourite parts! The way Jude was portrayed was absolutely stunning, she was always brave and came up with great ideas to get herself out of trouble...usually into more! Carden himself was an interesting character seeing as at the begining you quite naturally dislike him but towards the end you may grow fond of him.
The style of the writing is very easy to follow as it was written in 2018, so had more modern language than in other books such as classics. I have to admit, the longest chapter was chapter 1, so just prepare yourself for that one its 100% worth it though! Its very interesting when you get to meet Judes sisters (although we meet them right at the beging) as we get to see their opinions of faerie. Its a great book as ar times you worry for Jude and other times you are happy for her, i definitely recommend reading as i loved this book!
