I saw a recommendation for this book series online and after a few chapters I was super invested in the story. I think this is a perfect enemies-to-lovers plot line. This isn't your typical faerie land either, which I love. Jude is a fascinating character because she learned early on to toughen up and fight for what you want. Her whole relationship with this world is what makes her relationship with Cardan so intriguing as well. Drama, spies, cheaters, and backstabbing family members made for every chapter to drag you further into the whole of Elfhame. I absolutely loved how realist the love story starts as well. Cardan is her biggest bully and yet, there's something about it that makes you question why he hated her so much. Why he does any of what he does to her? His siblings shapes him into who he is and his friends mold that behavior into what they want from him. Jude and Cardan will be goals, I can feel it!
