I loved this book a lot. The characters within it are so well developed and described, the author creates their individual personalities so well and you can't help but fall in love with them. Jude is obviously my favourite and I love how we gain such an incredible insight to her thoughts and feelings, how she atrives to do what is right and yet struggles with her own natural as well as the cruelty of others. Her relationship with Cardan whilst complex is described beautifully and I'm very intrigued as to where it will end up. Not only this, but the dynamic between her relationships with her family is so interesting and gives her character more depth.The plot itself is so incredibly well written and imaginative, allowing the readers to step into a different world entirely with its emotive language and wonderful descriptive imagery. Also, the plot twists are a.azing and really do keep you on your toes.
