I really enjoyed reading The Cruel Prince. What a fantastic book! I kept seeing this book recommended on TikTok... now I understand why. I loved reading it.
I thoroughly enjoyed Holly Black’s style of writing and found it gripping, I’ve not read anything by this author before, so it was nice to read something new (to me).
I particularly loved the first chapter, this is always the important one for me as it’s what makes me decide whether or not to keep reading. It’s got to be gripping and making me want to read more. Im thrilled to see that this is the first book in a trilogy, I’m just about to start reading book two.
I highly recommend this book. Dramatic, exciting, thrilling, magical. What more could you want?
