I have to admit that whenever I see any book by Holly Black I immediately assume it will be great. My assumptions are mostly correct though.
I loved this book so much, from the gritty new faerie world we are introduced to, to the Characters of Jude and Cardan and the storyline I love every single part of it!
The only thing that I wish were different is the length. I wish it was longer, as it is a pretty short book, especially for a young adult fantasy. There not necessarily anything missing, the plot moved quickly, but smoothly, but still the world is so intricately made up that I can only wish for more to read. And as I loved the relationship between our two main characters I also wished there was more interaction between them. But we will see what the next book brings!
