This will forever be a favourite of mine and this series was just amazing.
This book was such an easy read I finished it in one sitting. The world that Holly Black has created is amazing and I would just love to be transported to Elfhame. The world building was amazing and I loved the map in the book!
Jude is one of my favourite female protagonists ever! She does go through some difficult times in the folk of the air series and we only see a glimpse of that in the first book. There is not much character development in the first book but I still loved it!
The tension between Cardan and Jude was everything. I have to say I’m a huge fan of slow burn enemies to lovers. It’s a guilty pleasure of mine.
The political aspect of this book had me hooked as well and there was so many twists and turns.
I loved the side characters also though I have to say I will never be a fan of Madoc. I love Judes siblings but taryn hasn’t grown on me but maybe we might see her have a redemption arc.
Overall I loved this book and this entire series and I recommend anyone that wants a series to read this is the one!
