The world building in the book is incredible I loved how diverse the fae world was in comparison to the mortal world. I loved the main character is obvious she is a strong female heroine which I love to read books about. This book had a good mix of fantasy elements, romance, humor, and sadness. I honestly felt every emotion as I read through this book which is an experience I don’t always get. This book definitely hooks you from the beginning as it has a very strong opening. After reading this I’m super excited to read the rest of the series as see how the characters develop over time. The only things I didn’t love about this book was that I could’ve used a bit more detail when it came to the history of the fae as that always interests me but I don’t think it took away from the overall story too much. If you are a fantasy fan and a fan of enemies to lovers I highly recommend reading this book and starting the series.
