If you are coming into this book thinking this book is a romance book, you`re wrong. Although, I do encourage you to read it. It is a fantasy series that dives into politics in the fae world although it has a sub-plot of enemies to lovers trope. Which I could argue, makes you at the edge of your seat as you are trying to take every detail when these two have a moment together.
This book is the book that made me fall in love with reading after many years, all thanks to a friend, which btw I trust my life with her now. I completely understand the hype, I however do not like the power this book has over me. I think about it every second of every day. Rate this a 5 Star! I will say the second book `The wicked King` and the third `the Queen of Nothing` will blow your socks off.
