I usually am a big fan of this type of story, enemies to lover and all, but was a bit disappointed. The book is well written, and the rythm is good. The author knows how to bring you into their world, through the story and the characters. The narrative and story are full of unexpected and well told turns. I have to say, the story is really good and I would recommend it to any reader who likes fantasy and young adults stories. It is equally full of adventure to take the reader on a magical journey and romance to make them dream of an other kind of travel.
I simply couldn't personnally relate with the main character, I guess she is too far from my own character ? It doesn't take anything from the story, which is why I still recommend it. She is ambitious and brave, proud and daring, qualities anyone can admire. I simply felt a distance between her and me.
The cover work is beautiful, and it is still a book I will proudly exhibit on my shelves.
