Despite being an older reader I enjoyed the fast pace of the book. I was pleasantly surprised that the plot was not completely predictable with some surprises throughout. It was well written easy reading escapism creating the perfect base to develop the storyline and characters for the future books in the series. I look forward to reading the next one!
