I read this book after reading A Court of Thorns and Roses in hopes to fill the void until February. I kept seeing this series on tiktok and youtube so I had high expectations. It did not disappoint! The writing is really easy to understand so it's really to breeze by this within a couple days. I will be reading the next books in this series because of my love for these characters. I love the tropes it uses (e.i. like enemies to lovers) as cliche as they might be I can't get enough of stories that portray it as well as Holly Black. I hope the rest of the story continues to be this strong and add new characters that will capture my heart. The world building is great and so well thought out. I am a sucker for faerie based books and magically fantasy so this was everything I asked for and better. I think someone new to fantasy books would really enjoy this, or at least appreciate it. I could not recommend enough!
