from the first pages, Holly Black managed to get me lost in the book. it is a beautiful book with many plot twists that make the book extra exciting. I thought the character Cardan was super fun and beautifully invented, he is one of the best characters I have ever read about. he pretends to be a bad ass, but towards the end I start to wonder if Cardan really couldn't be gentle, especially when he explained his attraction to Jude. a beautiful book that I can recommend to everyone and will not hesitate to buy the other books. I've been looking for the second book for a while but unfortunately it has not yet been translated and is available in Dutch. The end of the book is a little less than the beginning because I was not a big fan of the Assassin's Cloak, which is very strange because the book The Knife of the Assassin by Sarah J Maas is my favorite book.
