I loved the character ‘cardan’ and how powerful Jude was! The detail and description made the scenery easy to depict. I was recommended this book multiple times however i started it yesterday and couldn’t put it down! It was a good length and the language used was amazing. I really enjoy reading Holly Black’s books and this was one of my favourite books that she has written! I really want to read the next book in the series too! Everything that happened was unexpected especially the end! I couldn’t put the book down as it was drawing me in. The cover is really pretty as the gold is very striking against the white background and the brown of the tre;, it is quite a simple cover however i do still like it.
