At first I thought I wouldn't like it, because it was so overhyped that I thought it would live up to my expectations, but I was fairly wrong.
Someone please revive me because I am dead from the awesomeness of this book. If you want to read a masterpiece of character and story, look no further. The plot itself was a wild time. One of the later chapters had me staring at a wall in a state of disbelief in regards to what had happened. The world was such an interesting one to explore! A wondrous fantasy novel that is easy to get invested in. So many great plot twists and high-intensity, suspenseful moments!
You know a story is good when, at night, before falling asleep, you eagerly replay the story in your mind, but this time with you as the main character living an exciting adventure full of intrigue, danger and romance. I think we can say that this is one of Holly blacks masterpieces.
