After so many good reviews and all the noise on social media I was so excited to put my hands on copy of Cruel Prince. I thought finally there is a book that will get me fall in love with fairies and 'magic' like Harry Potter did. How wrong I was... Maybe I'm too old (grew up on HP so not that old) but I found this book so bland and drugging. Yes the descriptions of characters were lovely and language the author is using is beautiful but this is not enough to get you hooked on the book. I had to force myself to read half of the book and I gave up - not worth my time, sorry.
I also found quite unrealistic the most important part of the book which is relation between Jude and her sister (I already forgot the name, see what I mean?) and Madoc. I couldn't possibly imagine anyone forgiving killing their parents not to mention living happily under the same roof!
