I love this book! Potential spoilers.
It is a fantasy faerie folk book.
I found it was an easy read
The character descriptions gave me vivid imaginations of what the faerie folk would look like. I fell in love with the characters too, from the good to the bad
The book itself has plot twists in which you wouldn't expect.
There were humans living within the faerie folk, of which some where enslaved (in dream like states) and the main human character a part of the faerie folk, as their sibling is half faerie, half human. It isn't the usual girl meets boy book either, where the human falls for the faerie. But a book of magical beings, and the king being dethroned by their bloodline, and hidden young, of royalty bloodline. Which help defy the bloodline that wanted to take the crown for their own, and rule the folk, maybe he would have been an evil king, or not, but we knew he had a distaste for human beings.
