The Cruel Prince is the first book in The Folk of the Air trilogy, it’s a young adult fantasy book about a human girl named Jude trying to find her way in the faerie world along with her twin sister Taryn and their older sister Vivienne. The way Holly Black describes the faerie world made me fall in love with the fae all together! This book was my first reading which included far and it did not disappoint at all, I couldn’t put the book down read it all within the same day of buying with no regrets.

Whatever book a reader is looking for Holly Black has wrote it - heart-in-throat action, deadly romance, double-crossing, heartbreaking betrayal, morally grey characters - this is definitely one heck of a ride.
All I’m looking forward to is reading the next 2 books and getting a better look into these amazing characters.
