This book is perfect for anyone who loves the enemies-to-lovers romance trope. The main female protagonist, Jude, is a strong, interesting character who should not be messed with. Her counter-part, Cardan, is witty and another interesting character to read about. I first heard of this book through social media and I was not disappointed. The tension between Jude and Cardan is immaculate. Although not in this book, but the letter for Jude from Cardan is so sweet and further solidifies my love for them as a couple. The cover is beautiful and elegant. The writing is absolutely amazing as Holly Black brings you into the world with her. You can visualise the setting and you feel almost as if you are living amongst them. I would recommend to anyone who loves YA fantasy and an enemies to lovers trope. This book does well to keep up the tension.
