Words can not express my fascination with this book!

First of all, I seriously could not put this book down- it was so good! I could read this book so many times and never get bored. The character dynamics were very interesting and I will say the complexity of them is what made me continue reading - it made it very intriguing. I even recommended it to a close friend of mine who always said she didn’t enjoy fantasy books and after reading this book, not only has it become her favourite but it also opened her eyes into this genre. I highly recommend this book to readers- especially beginner fantasy readers who are only just entering the magical world! Oh, and how can I forget the enemies to lovers trope. Personally, I love the development in romance in this book; not only did the plot expand, but Cardan's character seemingly developed along with his romantic feelings. Every break I had, I couldn't stop thinking about the book for a second- all I thought about was what could possibly happen in the next chapter. I can’t emphasise enough how much I enjoyed reading it. On the topic of plots, the plot was so fast-moving and yet full of descriptive details, a difficult combination to master and yet so skillfully done by this amazing author. I must say I am extremely impressed. I honestly can't wait to read further series! :)
