The book overall was amazing; it’s great if you like reading fantasy books or you want to start reading them. This is actually my first fantasy book and honestly I’m more of a Non-fiction fan but THIS ONE was such a kick starter for me and I am definitely looking forward to more fantasy books. I came across this book on BookTok described as an enemies to lovers however that’s the biggest misconception about this book as the main plot is political and war strategies as well as fighting to gain power, enemies to lovers is a sub plot, I personally would describe it as more of a bully romance.
It’s a bit confusing in the beginning (around 100 pages )because it describes the back stories of the characters but after 1/4 of the book it’s TOTALLY a page turner.
I would have preferred if it hade I bit of spice (but that’s maybe because I need to go into therapy) but it hade quite a few passionate, fluttering kisses🤭.
I definitely recommend everyone to read it because it’s SO WORTH YOUR TIMEEE. 🫶🏻
