As a rule, I generally avoid any book with a first person narrative as I tend to find them quite difficult to get into so initially I expected not to find this interesting but I am pleased to say I’m wrong.
What I like about it is it feels very much like a drama series you watch on tv. Solid, rounded out enough to care but not too over indulgent and very natural. I’m obsessed by these types of shows so this has definitely got my attention!
