The cover caught my eye and so did the short introduction. I hadn’t read any of the author’s work before. It didn’t take me long to start reading about the two detectives and I took to both. They have an understanding of each other’s ways. After a mudlarker finds some human remains washed up by the Thames the investigation began. I definitely want to finish reading this !
