I was first drawn to this by the cover. It already screams mystery I need solved. I’ve never read any of Jane Casey’s books before, let alone heard of Maeve Kerrigan. I like Casey’s writing style in the first look, Kerrigan is ballsy and who doesn’t love a strong female lead? We don’t learn much from the first look but I am so intrigued to know how what’s been found so far fits into the narrative the blurb describes!
