For me crime novels can be very hit or miss, but clearly the author has a good knowledge of her genre. The characters are very well developed so far and the premise is promising. I like that the science was explained and it was done without being patronising. The edition of the flashback was a brilliant touch and left me wanting to know who it was and why it was included. Definitely my cup of tea.
